Winter Kings
Summer Chinook salmon season typically starts early July around the 16th these fish are large summer kings and can reach the mid to upper teens and the 20 lb range.
Best to make a reservation early for kings its a short season.Summer kings are subject to a catch quota for each marine area and the season 1 to 2 weeks in area 9 whinby island and 4 to 5 weeks in area 10 Edmonds which makes for a month long king fishery.
