We'll start with a nice hot soup pan,
add 3 teaspoons olive oil
Add 4 table spoons raw bacon sliced thin.
Sautee bacon until it is 3/4 way cooked.
Add
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup diced onion
1clove fresh chopped garlic.
Sautee until the bacon is fully cooked.
Add 1/2 cup diced raw potatoes.
Add 6 cups chicken stock or clam stock.
Slowly let this simmer and reduce until the potatoes are cooked,
add 1/4 cup cooked corn fresh or frozen.
Add 4 cups 1 half and half or milk.
In a separate pan melt 1/2 stick of butter and add 1/2 cup flour.
Heat and mix.
when thick add this and let simmer till it gets thick,
finally add 2 cups pre cooked diced or hand shredded salmon.
Add salt pepper fresh dill and old bay seasoning to taste.
Garnish with fresh parsley or fresh dill,
