Hello fellow fisherman sportsman it’s me your Charter boat dwelling charter captain and Chef Captain Chris
here with another awesome seafood recipe that even you can pull off.
Yes, I did say even you!
So, you’re wondering what to do with all that Dungeness crab meat that you have from all the crab you caught fishing with us this last season here at Big King Salmon Charters.
Well,
I have great news were going to make Crab Cakes.
Not just any crab cakes Captain Chris Seattle style Dungeness Crab Cakes!
First of all, you’re going to have cooked and chilled crabmeat.
boiled like we did at the dock after we caught them and taken out of the shell and chilled.
Ingredients
2 large eggs
3tsp Grey Poupon Dijon mayonnaise
1/2 cup best foods mayonnaise
3 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp Old Bay Seasonings
2 tsp chopped Parsley.
1 half cup diced red and green peppers.
1 half cup diced white onion.
2 cups panko breadcrumbs
3lbs cooked and chilled Puget sound Dungeness crabmeat that you got fishing with us here at Big King Salmon Charters
In a bowl mix crabmeat panko and parsley.
in a separate pan Sautee peppers and onion till slightly cooked and chill.
add all ingredients including to your mixing bowl.
Blend all ingredients evenly together and form round cakes.
set cakes in the refrigerator for 1 hour to firm up.
in a Sautee pan heat 3 tsp olive oil and lightly brown the crab cakes.
you can remove from the heat when they have a nice, seared color on them and finish them in the oven.
or you can finish them in the Sautee pan whichever you prefer.
There you have it World Class Captain Chris Seattle Style Crabcakes that are sure to impress.
you can serve them with a nice Remoulade sauce if you like and you can find that recipe on our website as well.
Looking forward to seeing you all on the water soon.
Sincerely Captain Chris.
