Coho Salmon

Coho salmon are a popular sport fish in Seattle, and for good reason. They are beautiful fish, with their bright silver scales and black spots, and they can be challenging to catch, which makes them even more rewarding.  The 2023 Salmon season has just started and the Cohos are hungry.  Fishermen are enjoying limits of Cohos in very short order as of the writing of this report.

Places to fish for Coho Salmon

There are a few different places where you can fish for coho salmon in Seattle. Charters are available throughout the Seattle Edmunds area and are very popular for locals and tourists alike.

A popular spot for coho salmon fishing in Seattle is the Edmonds Pier. This pier is located on the north side of Puget Sound, and it is a great place to fish for coho salmon from shore.

No matter where you choose to fish for coho salmon in Seattle, you are sure to have a great time. These fish are a challenge to catch, but they are also very rewarding.

Here are some tips for coho salmon fishing in Seattle:
