Captain Chris was fantastic. We motored and had two fish in the boat in the first hour or so. There were three of us fishing (two poles due to the tide), and we brought 5 fish to the boat…but only 2 were keepers. Great trip! I’ll be headed back in September for Coho.

Captain Hoag showed us a great time. He was friendly, obviously very experienced, and safety conscious. It was a slow day for all of the boats on the water, but we still brought one in. One of the only boats to do so! We would fish with him again in a second.

Had a great afternoon of fishing. Captain was knowledgeable and offered encouragement to an otherwise novel Fisherman and his son and grandson. Caught 3 fish including a King Mackerel which we had to release. Captain Chris made every effort to locate fish in different locations and different depths at a time when most people acknowledge is a slow time in successfully catching fish. Meant a lot to have his enthusiastic approach to catching fish. Glad we had a private experience; made it more relaxing even though it was more expensive. Would do it again! Thanks

My brother Adrian was visiting from Iowa and is a master fisherman and he had the time of his life as he pulled in tow nice salmon, a 12-13 pound King and a 3 pound Coho. We were so delighted and then Captain Chris put us over a school of bait fish and Adrian hit a a huge 25# plus Chinook. He worked his fanny off but we got it in the boat. Captain Chris dis everything he could to insure our success and I say he did an amazing job. You absolutely need to book with Chris Hoag if you are looking for the best fishing experience of your life. A five star rating isn’t nearly high enough! Thanks Chris, job well done.
