Well, we’re back in from another great Dungeness Crab trip here and what are we going to do with these beautiful Dungeness crabs is boil them.

Absolutely Not!

Where going to oven roast them Seattle style! Now don’t freak out boys and girls you can do this. First of all were going to start out with our crabs fully cleaned raw just like they were on the dock.

Your ingredients are roughly:

3 to 4 lbs. raw Dungeness crab legs fully cleaned and in the shell.

2 ounce extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup butter

4 tsp chopped fresh garlic.

2 tsp chopped fresh shallots.

2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes.

3 tablespoons fresh chopped thyme

4 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley

1 cup white wine

1/2 cup heavy cream optional.

in a large Saute pan Saute garlic shallots till they start to brown. Add the Dungeness crab legs and Sautee them until they turn red in color. Add butter thyme parsley and white wine, simmer for 5 minutes.

Place all ingredients and crab legs in a roasting pan and bake at 500 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. or until the crab meat reaches 170.00 degrees.

Pour the remaining liquid from the roasting pan over the crab legs. You can add the heavy cream (optional) to the liquid to thicken your sauce if you like.

in the summer i serve these on top of fresh grilled Asparagus. Absolutely delicious!

Well, there you have it i hope this helps.

See you all on the water

Sincerely

Captain Chris.
