On the bait!

Salmon fishing has been good on Puget sound between hat island and Camano island Washington.

We have been catching good numbers of Winter blackmouth ( Winter King ) Salmon at 100 to 115 feet

using the Coho killer spoon with the hearing aid pattern and red racer ultra violet flasher.

This combination has been killer in all areas from Seattle to Everett.

Hat island the south end of Whidbey island to Eldger bay.

The race track between hat island and Camano island has been the most productive for larger King Salmon

While Possession bar has been putting out greater numbers of smaller kings.

The annual  Everett salmon derby is next weekend march 16 areas 8-1  8-2 and 9.

we recommend fishing the race track between hat island and Camano island and Eldger  bay.

Winter kings

Posted on February 7th, 2016

DSCN0048Salmon fishing has been good for us in the Everett and seattle area
for winter king salmon. Winter black mouth.
We have been catching a fair amount of winter kings around the south side of hat island near Everett, and on the bar that runs between hat island and Camano island. We have been releasing a lot of small shaker salmon to get to the keepers.
Hat island and camano island have always been productive for winter king salmon and this season is on track to be a great year for winter king salmon.
We are trolling with downriggers at 55 to 75 feet on the south side of hat island, and hugging the bottom 105 to 115 feet on the bar between hat island and camano island.
We got this fish just as we set down at 110 feet hearing aid spoon and a red racer flasher.
Lets go fishing!
